Tae Rowe
Age: 28 Standard
Species: Galaxy Standard
From: Lustaroh
Affiliation: Order of Ascendancy, The Assemblage
Title: Vice Commandant of the Order
Characteristics: Known to the galaxy as the more "reasonable" of the Rowe children, Tae often finds himself on the opposite side of the arguments with his younger sister and father. He brings a rational point of view to situations that can be on the brink of spinning out of control due to reckless abandon. He shares the same physical features of his sister, including the dark hair, strong physique, and good looks, though he doesn't consider it to be as important to his ability as a leader as she does.
Biography: He was once considered to be the "future Commandant" after showing an incredibly adept control over both UDE-1 and his own emotions, however he never truly had the personality required of that role and saw it go to his sister when their father became the Grand Controller. He has excelled in his role of Vice Commandant, however, and brings a balance to the Order that had been lacking for many years. Had it been anyone else, things may not have gone as smoothly, even though there is still plenty of times in which they disagree on the best way to handle a situation.
Tae holds the distinction of being one of the youngest to ever obtain his Controller status, having excelled in training and saving a fleet of refugees from a pirate attack in the Biodrone sector at just age 16. Among those saved was a young UDE-1 sensitive girl named Aida Warda, whose family was unfortunately among the causalities of the attack. Aida joined the Order, and a friendship blossomed between the two that lasts to this day as they now serve on the same Strike Team.
Perhaps the biggest rift between Tae and the rest of the leadership in the OoA is that he feels as though they've been to quick to go on the attack without learning more about the dangers of the Sunder. He feels as though they're not going to be able to succeed if they continue to send in Strike Teams and lose Controllers without truly knowing what it is they are fighting against.
