Characteristics: The Avorundi are perhaps the most appealing yet feared race in the entire galaxy. Their incredible looks are both alluring and deadly all at the same time. Alere possess the dangerous combination of those looks and the unusually common-among-her-species ability with raw UDE-1. Tall and slender with gray and purple tinted skin, she looks very much like the rest of her avian flock. Her hair feathers are different shades of purple, pink, and blue with highlights of white. She's as striking as you would imagine a species that relies on seducing others to procreate would have to be, if not more.
Biography: Like many of her species, Alere showed an affinity for controlling UDE-1 early in her life. After leaving her nest at a young age, she traveled further from the core and initially began working as a consigliere to a crime boss in the hope that she'd be able to mate with him. However, he was killed during a raid by the OoA and she was taken prisoner. She escaped by seducing the guard and would go on the run. She went into hiding, but learned that it's hard to blend in with the average Standard people when you're an exotic, featured beauty. An OoA Strike Team lead by Jules Vanvorn eventually caught up with her and recaptured her.
But instead of punishing her, Jules saw the potential in her and gave her the choice of either being banished to Myriad space or training to become an Order Controller. The choice was an easy one for someone who had grown up and spent their entire life deep in the core systems. And now she was one of the most trusted Controllers in the entire Order, having earned a place on Melora Rowe's Strike Team, serving as the main pilot of her ship.
